Euphagus cyanocephalus

This photograph was taken among the rocks at Muir Beach on December 23, 2002.  I was assisted in getting the attention of the bird for the photograph by Justine Chassatte who was visiting from Dombasle, France.  Brewer's Blackbirds are know to be bold and easy to approach.
