Original description (Roewer 1941: 104-105):
"Mit den Merkmalen der Familie; außerdem 2. und 3.
Tarsus ventral mit je 1 Dorn und 4. Tarsus ventral mit 1.1.1
Dorner bewehrt. Die Gattung Rhagodospus findet ihren Platz
zwischen Rhagodopa und Rhagodolus unserer Tabelle 1934, p,
268."
Translation: With the
characteristic features of the family; also, 2nd and 3rd tarsi
armed ventrally with 1 spine and 4th tarsus ventrally with 1.1.1 spines.
The genus Rhagodospus finds its place between Rhagodopa
and Rhagodolus in the table in 1934, p, 268.
