Type species: Gluviema migiurtina Caporiacco,
1937a, by monotypy.
Distribution: Somalia.

Dornen trägt."
Translation: Gluviinae,
whose two-segmented tarsi of legs 2 and 3 in each case bear 2.2/2
ventral spines and whose three-segmented 4th tarsus bears
2.2.2/2/2 ventral spines.

"The type specimen
of
Gluviema
migiurtina
quite clearly belongs
to
the Galeodidae.
DI
CAPORIACCO
(1936) misidentified
the family
and quite
naturally
found
that
his specimen did not fit into any of
the known
taxa of the
Daesiidae. It is
a
female
apparently to
be
referred to the
genus Galeodellus, but which will be studied in
detail
with
the other
material belonging to the
Galeodidae.".
