Original description

SUBSEQUENT ACCOUNTS:
Muma 1986

Muma (1986) included this species in the palllipes group of Eremobates in a list of  families, genera, and species previously recorded from Mexico, Central America and the West Indies., noting that Roewer (1934) described this species from Dinamita, Durango, Mexico. He also noted that Roewer recorded males of this species from 2 localities in the state of Durango, Mexico. Muma further noted that he had seen both .specimens and had also seen 2 males from the state of Coahuila, Mexico collected August 6, 1972 by Norman Horner .
