This section of the website, through the links at the left of this page, provides an overview of current research on the order Solifugae, including the Global Survey and Inventory of Solifugae, a major collaborative research project funded by the Biodiversity Surveys and Inventories program of the U.S. National Science Foundation (Grants 0640219 and 0640245).  It also presents information about the current holdings of solifugid specimens in the world's museums and guidance on the collection and preservation of specimens for scientific study.   Researchers working on projucts involving members of the order Solifugae, are welcome to provide a brief ddscription of their projects for inclusion.  current research projects,
