HOLOTYPE: Costa Rica: Tristan, 1 male (holotype).

Original description:
Roewer, 1934: 600, figs 336d, 340b:

♀: Unbeweglicher Finger dorsal ohne verstärkt hervortretenden Kiel, mit 4 lateralen und 4 medialen Wangenzähnen; beweglicher Finger mit 1 Vorder-, 1 Zwischen-, 1 Haupt- und medial des letzteren mit 1 Wangenzahn; Gebiß Abb. 340, b; Pedipalpen behaart, am Metatarsus ventral mit 4 Paar kurzer Dornen und wie Tarsus mit zahlreichen Zylinderborsten (Abb. 336, d); Beine wie bei A. schlüteri bedornt; Farbung der Cheliceren, des Propeltidium und der opisthosomalen Tergite gleichmäßig dunkelbraun, Pleura, Sternite, Coxen und Malleoli weißgelb; Pedipalpen dunkelbraun, nur die apikalen 2/3 des Metatarsus und der Tarsus scharf kontrastierend schwarz; Beine einförmig dunkelbraun; Körperlänge 17 mm.
